DISH NOW February 5th 2010

The energy was electric Monday night (February 1) at Henson Studios as more than 80 of music’s biggest stars gathered for a charity remake of “We Are the World” in support of Haitian earthquake relief. “I feel like a kid in a candy store,” Wyclef Jean said, speaking to the press about the idea of remaking such an iconic song, which is getting production help from RedOne and Will.I.Am. “What’s bigger than a contribution is that you lend your voice,” the Haitian native said earlier in the day to his peers while trying to inspire them during the session, which began around 3 p.m. and lasted well into the night. Among the voices in the 81-member choir were Pink, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Nick Jonas, LL Cool J, Robin Thicke, Celine Dion, Akon, Rob Thomas, Wyclef, Jeff Bridges, Vince Vaughn, Barbra Streisand, Jordin Sparks, Good Charlotte’s Madden brothers, Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Keri Hilson, Jamie Foxx, Tyrese, Katharine McPhee, Sean Garrett, Will.I.Am, Carlos Santana, Melanie Fiona, Enrique Iglesias, Toni Braxton, Jason Mraz, Miley Cyrus, Busta Rhymes, Nicole Scherzinger, Nicole Richie, Usher, Julianne Hough, Raphael Saadiq, Zac Brown, India.Arie, “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson, Musiq Soulchild, Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson, Fonzworth Bentley, Kid Cudi, Iyaz, Bizzy Bone, Nipsey Hussle, the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, Trey Songz, Faith Evans, Mya and Gladys Knight.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are notoriously private about their relationship. They never publicly announced their April 2008 wedding, avoid questions about each other in interviews, and are rarely photographed hugging or kissing. So fans and Jay-Z himself were surprised when Beyonce accepted one of her record-breaking six Grammy Awards last Sunday with the declaration, "I'd love to thank my family for all of their support, including my husband. I love you" He was shocked! He was just like, 'What did you say?' " Beyonce told Access Hollywood. She added, "I was so happy, I could've said anything. That's why I ran off the stage. I just looked up, and he was the first face I saw. And I was like, 'What did I just do? No, I didn't just say that.'

Ke$ha recently gave an inkling into what she's looking for in a guy. In order to make the cut, you'll have to be able handle her big mouth, she says. And sporting a beard doesn't hurt. The pop star tells People.com, "It really takes a strong guy to have a successful girlfriend who's as mouthy as I am. I've yet to find someone who can handle the sass. I just want somebody who's really cool -- a really cool musician with a beard." In other news, Ke$ha just shot the video for her second single "Blah Blah Blah" in Los Angeles. The members of 3OH!3 appear on the song, as well as in the clip. Ke$ha says, "The guys in the band 3OH!3, [are] like legitimate friends, and they're really, really nice guys." In the video, Ke$ha is seen going out on dates with guys who just don't shut up. So she tries to find ways to get them to quit talking.
Kevin Federline was so oblivious to his weight gain that he thought the well known picture of him on the golf course was digitally altered. He told Entertainment Tonight, "When I saw this picture, I did not think that I was that big . . . I thought it was Photoshopped. You know? And, then I realized that I was just letting myself go."The name-calling didn't exactly help either, he explains, "It was upsetting. It's [usually] easy for me to brush stuff off of my shoulder. [But] when I see pictures [of me] like that, and people are calling me 'K-Fat,' I had to do something about it."
